Available again after a 71 year of cessation of production! Newly manufactured fully shootable GAS TRAP front end kits for the M1 rifle. These GAS TRAP parts are manufactured from the original 1937-40 U.S. Government drawings. Each part is fully interchangeable with 1937-40 production components. The kit contains a gas cylinder, gas plug, front sight, front hand guard lipped ferrule, new stacking swivel and gas plug screws. The gas cylinder, gas plug and front sights have an R stamped on them to discourage dishonest people from passing them off as originals. The barrels are marked with the manufacturers initials, the drawing number and date of manufacture. Type 2 barrels now available.
Now available by popular demand! Machined from 8620 steel with a black oxide finish and heat treated for a life of hard use, the Manticore Arms Yugo M92 NightShroud flash hider is designed specifically for the 26x1.5 left hand thread found on the muzzle of the Yugoslavian M92 Krinkov.
The flash hider features the same twisted slot and scallop design as the NightShroud MKII, but with the twist reversed to make the device self-tighten on the left handed threads of the M92. In addition, the threaded collar is specifically designed to 'bottom out' on the muzzle face for rattle free mounting, and has eight detent notches to guarantee there is one right where you need it.
The Yugo M92 NightShroud flash hider is a mere 2 1/8 inches long, adding only 1 1/4 inches to the overall length of the rifle- it is over an inch shorter than the standard M92 muzzle booster! In addition the weight is only 3.0 ounces and is a U.S. made part that counts towards 922r compliance.
Machined from 8620 steel with a black oxide finish and heat treated for a life of hard use, the Manticore Arms NightBrake muzzle compensator is designed specifically for the 24mm thread found on the muzzle of most AK-74 rifles.
The NightBrake is specifically designed to provide recoil reduction and virtually eliminate muzzle rise while being almost an inch shorter than any other muzzle compensator currently offered.
A total of eighteen ports distributed around the upper 270 degrees of the device help stabilize and reduce exiting gas pressure. There are no ports facing directly upwards to allow for an uninterrupted sight picture when firing, and the lower 90 degree arc has no ports to prevent a dust signature when fired.
The NightBrake muzzle compensator is 2.5 inches long with a weight of 3.2 ounces and is engraved MANTICORE to denote it as a U.S. made part that counts towards 922r compliance. As with all our 24mm muzzle devices, the NightBrake can safely be used with rifles with projectiles up to 0.311 (7.62mm) in diameter. Please call us if interested in the NEW Night Brake. 800-675-6906

Curtis Werries Muzzle Brake literally puts the "brakes" on recoil and muzzle rise. Made of solid bar stock 416 stainless steel and machined for .800 dia. barrels with 3/4-28 t.p.i at the muzzle.
Curtis Werries is a police sniper with a little competition shooting background. He thought of designing the Big Chubby after attending a three-week Marine Corps urban sniper school in North Carolina. Many of the drills he fired required fast follow-up shots. The popular muzzle brake he was using at the time worked really well at reducing recoil, but he still felt like he was chasing his reticle. Curtis believed he could come up with a design that would hold the reticle on the target throughout recoil. After about a year of testing and refinement, Curtis and Rat Worx joined together to put the Big Chubby on the market. Several of these brakes already exist and have been tested extensively at numerous sniper schools with awesome results. With proper body alignment, shooters have been able to hold their reticle on a 2" circle at 100 yards throughout recoil.
